How To Clear Your Browsers Cache

  • What Is The Cache?

The "cache" is a place that your browser temporarily stores content while you're viewing it from the Internet. Some browsers are set to keep this indefinitely, and others for a very short time.

  • Why Clear Your Cache?

You should clear your cache so your browser does not attempt to view old copies of the site. Web sites change daily (at least the interesting ones do). Without clearing your cache, you may be viewing ancient copies.

  • How Do You Clear Your Cache?

You can try holding the SHIFT key while clicking on the Reload/Review/Refresh button at the top of your browser. That may try to reload the current page from the server, but it won't clear the rest of your cache out.
